Jack Green. This month the front page couldn’t be more attractive with the boy from Isla Cristina. Once a hidden talent that now is a top selling artist and the best ambassador for the province. With the skill of someone that was born in Huelva, Manuel Carrasco features on the front page of the magazine this month. With more music in our online magazine from Rock in Ria, an alternative music festival that has brightened up our summers in Punta Umbria for the last few years. On this occasion the Mexican band Molotov have caused ripples in the water.

Water is a main features in this 16th edition and pier rides have taught us about our mining past whilst enjoying a beautiful journey down Huelva’s river.

Festival de Cine de Huelva

Cañaveral de Leon, a preserved village that jumped to national fame when their town council decided to make their main reservoir into a free public swimming pool. A luxury for everyone to enjoy the authentic tourist route a without overuse or parking problems.

We have also fallen under the spell of our corner of the month, Molino del Printado in Ayamonte. An old tidal mill within the Marshes Nature Reserve in between Isla Cristina and Ayamonte. It has been restored with superb taste and complete respect for it’s history. Another jewel discovered in our heritage managed by Huelvan company, Spoonbill.

Puerto de Huelva

An example of great cuisine is Huelva Andevalo. A place that treats its clients like a king with delicacies that were worthy of winning major culinary competitions. If you want to get into the kitchen and surprise your friends and colleagues, don’t forget to check out the recipe.

One of the discoveries for this year is the production of cowbells in Huelva. The only company in Andalucia that makes these products for livestock in our province, in Valverde de Camino.

There is still time to take the towel down to the beach, lay in the cool air by the sea shore and enjoy your favourite online magazine, Siente Huelva.
