Jack Green. Huelva’s International Film Festival (Festival de Cine Iberoamericano) this year will have a very special collaboration with Rociana’s Cultural Association Club and the local town hall of El Condado, who have wanted to show Huelva’s culture and traditions to all parts of the world.
With this aim, on Saturday 23rd November, the participants in the forum of Huelva’s International Film Festival will take a cultural visit to Rociana del Condado, thanks to Rociana’s Cultural Association Club and the Town Council, they will get to know different social cultural aspects of Rociana and the region of Condado, especially it’s wine growing tradition. They will visit some of the wine production houses showing more vintage of the province including Contreras Winery.
The collaboration between Huelva’s International Film Festival, Rociana’s Cultural Association Club and the local town council not only contribute to a grand reception to the world’s cinema professionals who will visit Huelva during the 39th edition of the festival.
People will join from countries as far away as Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Mexico. It is also a big opportunity to spread Huelva’s historical roots, distinctive features of it’s culture, it’s food and the traditions from different areas of the province. Taking the village of Rociana as a beautiful example.
RNE’s (Spain’s National Radio) will put on special programmes. Rociana’s Cultural Society Club will also embrace in the 39th Edition of Huelva’s International Film Festival. A special programme will be broadcast of ‘El Ojo Critico’ (The Critic’s Eye) on RNE, directed and presented by Alfredo Lain, one of the most important cultural programmes on Spainsh radio. It will be broadcast on Friday 22 from 7pm to 8pm.
Before then, on Thursday 21st in the same time slot, ‘El Ojo Critico’ will be shown from the film festival’s venue at Columbus House in Room A.
In both broadcasts ‘El Ojo Critico’ will feature different participants from the world of cinema.
