Each year the province of Huelva and its tourism board receives a large number of journalists, tour operators and travel agents interested in publicising what visitors can expect in the Onubense province. In the first 6 months of 2017 more than 90 journalists from Spain and abroad have visited, the trips have been organised by Huelva tourist board and explore different routes and taste authentics products that can be found in Huelva.
In the 525th Anniversary of Two Worlds and Huelva Capital of Gastronomy, the number of press visits has doubled since last year. With thanks to Huelva Provincial Tourist board, Huelva Council and the Ministry of Tourism and Sport.
Media reporters and heads of the most prestigious magazines such as Lonely Planet Traveller, coming from 9 different countries as well as Spain. Journalists and photographers with national reach such La Razon, ABC, Prensa Ibérica, El Economista, the magazines Elle, Top Viajes, Buen Viaje and the agency EFE have all sampled what Huelva has to offer.
The tourism board have put together a schedule of places of interest for different trips, with itineraries that go from the capital of Huelva to Aracena, guests have been able to explore the excellent food on offer like Jamon and enjoy the countryside around the Jabugo route, Aracena Park and Picos de Aroche. The wine route through Condado, El Rocio, Doñana or the beautiful beaches in Huelva’s coast.
The wine from the vineyards of Condado, the fresh fish, the symbolic Carmen Market or the secrets of Jamon production straight from the acorns trees in Jabugo and not to forget the best restaurants to taste, so much in Huelva and in the whole province has attracted interest from journalists for its originality, attractiveness and uniqueness.
